AMARIMONSTER
CHOREOGRAPHER · CREATIVE DIRECTOR · DANCER · MOVEMENT ARCHITECT
BASED IN NEW YORK CITY | AVAILABLE WORLDWIDE
Amari Katherine Ann Marshall — professionally known as AmariMonster — is a globally recognized choreographer, dancer, and creative visionary whose work transcends borders and expectations. Born in Tulsa, Oklahoma and raised in Jacksonville, Florida, Amari’s journey from local talent to international powerhouse is rooted in passion, perseverance, and purpose.
Amari’s movement language fuses African, Krump, Dancehall, and Hip-Hop to tell stories that empower, heal, and uplift. Her distinct voice has earned her opportunities to choreograph and dance for legends including Rihanna, Missy Elliott, Lizzo, Lady Gaga, Adele, and Janet Jackson. She is currently a Dance Captain and Contributing Choreographer on Beyoncé’s “Cowboy Carter” World Tour, and previously served as Co-Dance Captain, Contributing Choreographer, and Dancer on the record-breaking “Renaissance World Tour”, as well as the Netflix Christmas Bey Bowl Halftime Show.
Her choreography credits include creative direction and choreography for FLO’s critically acclaimed AAA Tour (Europe and North America), Pharrell’s Something in the Water Festival, and show-stopping award performances for Ciara, Janet Jackson, and more. You can also catch her in performances for Beyoncé’s “Homecoming”, Savage X Fenty (Amazon Video), Nike x Serena (NYFW), and the Rihanna Super Bowl Halftime Show.
Amari broke barriers as the first plus-size dancer/model to walk the runway for Adidas at Milan Fashion Week, and continues to represent body inclusivity in global campaigns, including her work as a Nike Muse and member of the Nike Women’s Icon Clash Team.
When she’s not performing or choreographing for the stars, Amari is nurturing the next generation through her sold-out masterclasses and her new youth-focused program, The Little Monstas Experience — a safe space where kids are uplifted through dance and creativity. A proud member of the women-led empowerment collective THE COUNCIL, Amari remains a fierce advocate for culture, creativity, and community.
